About AI Signals
What is AI Signals?
AI Signals (formerly AIDLE) began life in 2016 as the London Machine Learning Practice Meetup. After a pause during the pandemic, it was revived in 2022 and later relaunched as an independent community focused on applied AI.
Since then, we've hosted over 20 events, seen 75 talks and grown to more than 3,500 members. In that time we’ve discussed topics like fairness in AI, the developer experience, sustainable AI, and more. In 2025, we became AI Signals - a name that reflects our mission: cutting through the noise and sharing real stories from people building with AI across industry, research and personal projects.
We're volunteer-run, community-powered, and always curious.
How do I register to attend an event?
All our events are free to attend and open to everyone. We use Lu.ma for event registration - just head to our Events page, find the one you’re interested in, and click Register to reserve your spot.
You’ll get a confirmation and a reminder before the event.
We will be shuttering our Meetup page later this year so please join our community on Luma to avoid missing out on future events.
Can’t join in person?
Most events are also livestreamed, with recordings uploaded to our YouTube channel afterwards.
Where are the events hosted?
We are currently resident at Civo Tech Junction, a multipurpose co-working and event space conveniently situated just a stone's throw from Old Street station in London.

How can I get involved?
AI Signals runs on good people and good energy. We’re always up for welcoming new volunteers.
Whether you’ve got time to help out at events, want to support behind the scenes or just feel like being part of something meaningful let’s talk!
Can I come and speak at an event?
Absolutely. If you’ve got a story to share, an idea worth exploring, or something you’ve learned while working with AI or machine learning, we’d love to hear from you.
You don’t need to be an expert speaker - just someone with something interesting to say.
